Worship @ Home for May 31
It’s the fifth Sunday in May – you’ve gotta love a month with 25% more Lord’s Days than usual. The only thing better would be being together. In the meantime, thank-you for participating in these online worship services.
Zoom Meeting: Tuesday, June 2 @ 7:00 PM. Please join us for our weekly time of online fellowship and discipleship. This Tuesday, we will share in the Lord’s Supper, so have some bread and juice/wine handy. If you don’t have the link, just email Pastor Andrew and he’ll email it you: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Deacons will meet later this week. Please submit any ideas you have for the deacons (preferably in writing) to our chairperson, Rhonda Leonard.
Along with all other overnight camps in the province, Camp Oneida is closed this summer. This is the first time in seventy years that the camp has been closed. Please pray for the board, the staff, and for all of the campers who were hoping to connect with God and friends this summer at camp: https://camponeida.com/.
The Norfolk Pregnancy & Family Resource Centre continues to perform vital services for mothers, babies, and families in Norfolk County. Their annual Spring Baby Bottle Campaign has moved to an online donation format. Click here to learn more: https://www.norfolkpc.org/promotions–events.html.

How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. (Psalm 84:1-2)
He has set his foundation on the holy mountain; the Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. Glorious things are said of you, O city of God… (Psalm 87:1-3)
Psalm 75: a reading by Heidi Bieri
Message by Pastor Andrew: “Pillars, Horns & Cup” (Psalm 75)
Pillars, Horns & a Cup (Psalm 75)
(A note from Pastor Andrew: I apologize if you’re not able to access the sermon on this site. Those from Villa Nova Baptist Church and Assembly of Friends have received it in their email. If you didn’t receive it, please email me a request and I will email the sermon to you.)
Restore us again, O God our Saviour, and put away your displeasure toward us. Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your unfailing love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation. (Psalm 85:4-7)
Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful to you. But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. (Psalm 73:27-28)
Hear, O Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. (Psalm 86:1)
Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth… (Psalm 86:11)
I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known to all generations. (Psalm 89:1)
