Good Friday @ Home
You might ask, “What’s so good about Good Friday?” It wasn’t good of Judas to betray Jesus, nor was it good of the other disciples to abandon Him. It wasn’t good of the Jews to falsely accuse Jesus of breaking the law, nor was it good of the Romans to brutally execute Him. However, it was good of Jesus to pay the penalty for our sins, and good for us that He did. We praise Him today because, “We owed a debt we could not pay and He paid a debt He did not owe.”
Every Good Friday, Bloomsburg Baptist Church, Tyrrell Baptist Church and Villa Nova Baptist Church gather for worship. This year’s service was to take place at Tyrrell, but it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the worship service below, you’ll find a message from Tyrrell’s pastor, Marty Brown, and some bonus songs that we intended to sing together on Good Friday. May God be with you and bless you as you worship Him at home.
Read: John 19:16-30

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Galatians 1:3-5)
